Fujian Province in China has been producing the finest Jasmine tea leaves for centuries. High mountain green tea leaves are scented with fragrant and wonderfully aromatic Jasmine flower petals to create this uniquely aromatic tea.

The Yin Hao or “Silver Tip” variety of Jasmine is the most highly sought-after grade of Jasmine tea leaves. These delicate silver-tipped leaves are the entirety of our full leaf loose leaf blend. Most people enjoy Jasmine hot, but it’s becoming more popular as the main tea in cool and refreshing iced teas.

Here at Golden Moon, we use a whole leaf organic Jasmine tea that is free from pesticides and chemical additives. We don't use tea bags or sachets because plastic or even paper bags often leak trace amounts of chemicals, toxins, and bleach when exposed to hot water during the brewing process. We only use premium quality tea leaves and we never add artificial sweeteners, flavorings, chemicals, preservatives, or colorings. Just wholesome high-quality whole tea leaves that taste delicious and brew consistently perfect every time.

Our farmers grow organic Yin Hao silver tip tea and harvest it in the Spring when the leaves are at peak freshness. The leaves are carefully chilled and stored until summer for the Jasmine bloom. Then we take freshly opened flowers and intersperse them onto the tea for 24 hours. We repeat this process 7 days in a row, and the end result is a natural Jasmine flavor that is infused into the premium tea leaves. We never add fake Jasmine "flavoring", just natural infusion.

The truth is, properly scenting jasmine teas is hard work. Expert growers and tea makers have refined the process over the past few hundred years. We follow a very complicated, but very rewarding, full 7-day scenting process. Some unscrupulous tea makers try to cut corners and add artificial jasmine flavorings and fragrances to low-quality tea to pass it off as the real thing. We think that's wrong... and we also don't think those teas taste very good. That's why we never add artificial flavorings.
