How we source our tea

Our mission is to create the best, freshest, most natural pine needle tea, picked and harvested in America and packed by American workers.

We decided to start Go Natural because we were looking for pine needle tea but didn’t see any American-made options available. If you look at most sellers today, they come from somewhere in Asia. And when that happens, it’s hard to trust the quality of the product or where it comes from.

So we decided to change that.

Our pine needle tea is picked in upstate New York each week by a team of American foragers. We only use pine needles from the Eastern White Pine tree, which is the best source for Pine Needle tea because it has the highest amount of protective properties, antioxidants, and suramin. The Eastern White Pine is also native to the USA and is an extremely safe source of high-quality pine that has been used for tea for centuries.

After we pick the pine needles upstate, we dehydrate them in our studio space in Brooklyn to lock in the nutrients and put them in bags for you. Our tea bags are natural as well--they're made of a plant starch that breaks down easily, and contains no plastic at all (unlike other tea bags).
