About this item
? READY-TO-BREW GROUND COFFEE, NO GRINDER NEEDED: Pre-ground to a versatile medium grind, this Colombian coffee is ready for your drip machine, pour over, V60, Chemex or French press straight from the bag, with no grinder and no extra steps. It is the easy way to enjoy a single-estate, award-winning coffee on busy mornings, at the office or for guests. Just measure, brew and enjoy a smooth, balanced cup with all the quality of San Alberto and none of the fuss of grinding beans every day.
? SEALED FRESH IN A PROTECTIVE RESEALABLE BAG: Ground coffee loses aroma faster than beans, so each bag is filled and sealed in a resealable, light-and-air-blocking pouch that locks in fragrance and flavor and protects it in transit. Press out the air and reseal after every use to keep the grounds fresh from the first scoop to the last. If you have ever received coffee that smelled flat or stale, this freshness-first packaging is built to deliver an aromatic, lively cup every time you brew.
? A TRUE SMOOTH MEDIUM ROAST, SWEET AND NEVER BITTER: This is a genuine medium roast, balanced and clean, with caramel sweetness, delicate red fruit and soft dark chocolate, never burnt, harsh or over-roasted. It is bright and easy to drink black, yet rich enough to stand up to milk. If your everyday coffee tastes flat or bitter, this single-estate Colombian medium offers the smooth, layered, aromatic cup that made San Alberto the most awarded coffee in Colombia, brew after brew.
? SINGLE-ESTATE 100% ARABICA, GROWN IN COLOMBIA SINCE 1972: Every bag comes from one estate, Hacienda San Alberto in Buenavista, Quindio, grown between 1,500 and 1,800 meters from Caturra and Castillo varieties. This is full traceability from seed to cup, not an anonymous blend mixed from many farms and countries. High-altitude growing builds a denser, sweeter and more complex coffee, which is why this ground coffee earns its premium and tastes nothing like ordinary supermarket grounds.
? COLOMBIA'S MOST AWARD-WINNING COFFEE, AN ELEGANT PREMIUM GIFT: San Alberto has earned more than 30 international honors, including the Monde Selection Gold Medal and the iTQi Superior Taste Award with 3 Gold Stars, recognition almost no other Colombian coffee can claim. Its refined purple and gold bag makes it a memorable gift for birthdays, holidays, hosts and coffee lovers, and an everyday luxury for yourself. Give ground coffee with a real story of estate, craft and proven world-class quality.

San Alberto is a super-premium coffee born on the blessed soil of Buenavista, Colombia. This single estate coffee is carefully produced under a detailed process called the Five Step Selection Process, a series of labor-intensive selections that yield a unique product with unparalleled flavor and an amazing aroma.
San Alberto coffee was inspired by the great wines of France and developed for those who enjoy the exquisite luxuries of life.
The quality of the beverage is directly related to the quality of the brand and the correct preparation techniques. Below you will find the fundamentals of proper brewing:
Proportions: Use the correct ratio of water to coffee. Between 7 to 9 grams of coffee per 100ml of water
Grind: Each brewing method requires a specific grind. For shorter brewing times the grind should be finer
Water: A cup of coffee is 98% water. For that reason, the water used should be pure, free of impurities and preferably filtered
Freshness: The worst enemies of coffee are oxygen, light, heat and humidity. To keep it fresh, store it in an air-tight container at room temperature. For best results, coffee should be ground just before using
