How to use chaga?

Premium Siberian Chaga Mushroom:

Chaga ia a mushroom that has absorbed the life force of trees.

Birch chaga is a black or brown mushroom found on the bark of the birch tree.

Chaga is a fruitless, charcoal-like lump that grows on tree bark after the spores of the polypore fungus have penetrated it. The fungus infiltrates the tree through breaks, cracks. Most commonly, it occurs in the middle or bottom of the trunk, near broken branches.

Chaga can be found in birch groves and forests of cold regions of Russia, in taiga and forest steppe.

Chaga is collected during the leafless period, in spring or fall. The overgrowths are cut with an axe or sawed from growing or logged trees as part of timber harvesting operations.

First, they cut off the top layer of the mushroom including cracks and ingrown parts of the woody bark. Then goes the light brown inner layer. The middle part is suitable for further processing. It is cut into pieces no larger than 10 cm and dehydrated in drying machines at a temperature not exceeding 60 °C (140 °F). Once that's done, chaga can be stored in dry bags or crates for no more than 2 years.

Put crushed mushroom and aromatic herbs into a thermos. Pour it over with boiling water in a ratio of 1:5 and let it brew for 6-10 hours. We recommend drinking it as a tea, adding honey to taste.

You can take chaga in the form of teas. There is a wide range of effective recipes, all you need to do is to adhere to the proportions and properly use infusions and brews.

Chaga tea is recommended to be consumed 1 cup three times a day, preferably 1-1.5 hours before meals. One course takes 1 week. If desired, take a one-week break afterwards.
