Based in Austin, Little City Coffee Roasters grew out of a downtown coffeehouse that opened in 1993 near the state capitol and became a longtime community hub. A medium roast sits at the sweet spot between the brightness of a light roast and the boldness of a dark one. Expect a smooth, well-rounded cup with natural sweetness, moderate body, and low bitterness. Flavors are fully developed without the heavily roasted or smoky character of darker profiles. Easy to enjoy black or with cream.
Almond, dried fruit, and molasses lead the cup, with toasted nut warmth giving way to a sweet, jammy depth and a long, syrupy finish. Smooth and full-bodied without losing complexity, this decaf holds up black as an evening pour or rounds out easily with a splash of cream.
